«Nursing requires qualified nurses who are willing to expand their competencies and skills through lifelong learning. We support you.»
Irène Ris, Head of BSc in Nursing Programme
Three good reasons for studying Nursing at ZHAW
- The undergraduate programme provides the necessary knowledge to create evidence-based nursing concepts and develop standards to lay the foundations for nursing process optimisation. The additional knowledge that BSc graduates acquire, e.g. in clinical assessment or scientific work, enables them to give patients the best possible care and to take on a decisive role in interprofessional team work.
- Undergraduates in Nursing benefit from a wide range of continuing education programmes and can enrol in the Master degree programme in Nursing (MScN). Equipped with professional experience and the appropriate continuing education, graduates are ready to assume management, teaching or research responsibilities.
- The Institute of Nursing at Zurich University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest and most respected centres of education in Switzerland. We aim for the continuous further development of nursing knowledge and the professional field through our training and research projects.
