Expertise and research interests

Working in several research projects in the field of media psychology, mainly with a focus on the media use of children and adolescents in Switzerland (JAMES study, MIKE study, see *Projects* below)

Working on PhD thesis with the topic of "schadenfreude as a media effect" (University of Zurich)

Teaching activities within the Zurich University of Applied Sciences:
- Within BSc in Applied Psychology (teaching research methods, supervision of students' theses, teaching media psychology)
- Organising a study week abroad in 2019, 2021 and 2022 in Berlin with the topic "Human minds in the digital era" (BSc course)
- Within MSc in Applied Psychology (teaching media psychology, supervision of students' theses)
- Within MSc in Environment and Natural Resources (teaching research methods for social sciences profile)
