Description
The HIDES project investigates the use of hydrogen as energy carrier in distributed energy systems. In this context, the two dimensions of technology and value creation are investigated and optimized. Technical aspects are the generation of green electricity, the separation and storage of hydrogen, the reconversion of electricity as well as the regulation and control of power-to-gas-to-power systems. Ecomic aspects are strategies, regulators, business ecosystems, business models and market development, sustainability assessments and sector coupling. Additionally, the existing know-how and activities at the ZHAW are analyzed.
