Description
From municipal sewage sludge, valuable substances such as lipids
can be extracted for the production of biodiesel. This project
develops the technical basis for this extraction.
With this on site process, a molasses-like extract is to be
obtained from the sewage sludge. This extract should be of
sufficiently high quality to be processed into biodiesel.
Furthermore, the recovery of phosphorus should at best be carried
out in the same process or be easily realizable in the subsequent
process step.
