Description
Powder spray coating facilities belong to the largest energy consumers in Swiss industry. The plant configuration and the production sequence must be optimized for economical and ecological operation. As yet there is no satisfactory tool for this. Our goal is to solve this optimization problem by combining methods from simulation, optimization and computer-aided design and to provide it as a generic planning tool for painting plants.
