Applied Psychology Research

Our research bridges the gap between theory and application. We develop concepts and findings that put the science of psychology into practice and provide lasting impetus.

The School of Applied Psychology is a leading competence centre for psychological research in Switzerland. We combine expertise from various fields of application of psychology and work in close collaboration with internal and external partners. Our interdisciplinary research projects are created in collaboration with other ZHAW departments and with national and international universities.

Our goal is to develop innovative solutions for current social and technical issues. Our projects close the gap between theory and practice and contribute to knowledge generation and application.
