Please remember the following guidelines regarding your interview data:
- We will pseudonymize all information in the interview to protect your identity and the identities of others as well as the institutions mentioned.
- A separate list of the interview partners' names will be kept for the analysis, which will only be accessible to the project team.
- The interview transcript will be used exclusively for analysis purposes, and we reserve the right to quote from the anonymized data in the research report.
- Your personal contact data will be stored separately from the interview data, treated confidentially, and kept inaccessible to third parties.
- We will process your personal data, such as your name, email address, and information obtained through your participation in the project, in accordance with the Zurich Information and Data Protection Act (IDG), the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as applicable.
The ZHAW is responsible for processing your data. Your personal data will only be used for the purposes described above and will be processed with your voluntary consent. Data processing for non-personal purposes, in compliance with applicable legal provisions, is also allowed.
You have the right to revoke your consent to data processing by contacting dario.dagostino@zhaw.ch. Once we receive your revocation declaration, your personal data will no longer be processed. However, the processing of anonymized data and any legal retention obligations will still apply. The revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the processing that was carried out based on your consent before the revocation.
We will process your personal data with care and ensure it is securely protected against unauthorized access by third parties. Only those individuals who need the data to fulfill their tasks will have access to it. The data is stored on servers in Switzerland. If necessary, we may use third-party service providers and hosting partners. In such cases, ZHAW will take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations. There will be no data transfer or processing in countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland (so-called "third countries").
We will retain your personal data in accordance with good scientific practice only for as long as we deem necessary for the specified purpose and as long as your consent to data processing has not been revoked. After this period, your data will be anonymized or deleted, subject to legal retention obligations.
