Migration

International migration movements and general social mobility pose a great challenge to our society in terms of integration issues: how can an extremely diverse immigrant population and their descendants be given equal access and integration opportunities? The aim is to create adequate social services and initiate integration processes that meet the resources and needs of both migrants and the host society alike.
This focus topic concentrates on how social work and educational institutions influence the necessary participation and integration processes, and the associated effects on the participants and their integration opportunities. Emphasis is also placed on the living conditions and needs of migrants.
