Institutes and Centres
The School of Social Work has a Centre for Social Work Studies and an institute for each of its four key topics. This structure supports the school in its role as a faculty that is prominent in its field and capable of performing and developing, today and in the future.
The Centre for Social Work Studies is responsible for the conception, implementation, evaluation and further development of the social work degree programme at both bachelor’s and master’s levels. It works in close cooperation with the school’s four institutes, professional practice and other tertiary institutions.
The four institutes reinforce professional competence for further development of services, and for the execution of projects in all of the school’s fields of activity. This encompasses education and continuing education, as well as service provision, research and development. The institutes also promote regional, national and international cooperation and networking, and provide a basis for development of the profession and discipline.
