Applications for the Summer School must be completed in full and submitted by 14 May 2018. A copy of transcripts or certificate, proof of good English skills (min. B2 according to CEFR; TOEFL internet-based 61– 89; or IELTS 5.0 – 6.0) as well as a copy of passport must be enclosed with the online application form. The ZHAW School of Management and Law follows a rolling admissions process. Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. The number of participants for the Summer School course is limited. Early registration is advised.

As the courses are all in English, participants are required to prove their English language skills (min. B2 according to CEFR; TOEFL internet-based 61– 89; or IELTS 5.0 – 6.0). Registration is open to undergraduates and Master’s students.
CHF 2,800: Includes course materials, company visits, a Swiss pass (free public transportation throughout Switzerland), pick-up and transfer to Winterthur, and welcome and farewell event. A 5% discount is available for early bird registrations (registration by 30 March 2018) and if three or more students from the same university attend the course. Accommodation and meals are not included in the program fee. The Swiss Summer School team will provide you with a list of attractive accommodation options near our campus.
The program fee of CHF 2,800 is to be paid via online banking. If you cannot pay by via on-line banking, please contact the Swiss Summer School team by e-mail.

After successful completion of the program and all assignments, you will receive 4 ECTS credits and a certificate of attendance from the ZHAW School of Management and Law. An additional 2 ECTS can be earned by fulfilling an extra assignment (at the additional cost of CHF 750.-)
Classes take place at the ZHAW School of Management and Law in Winterthur, a 20 minute train ride from Zurich.
Should a program fail to receive a minimum number of participants, the SML reserves the right to cancel it. In such a case, applicants who have already enrolled in the program are normally notified of its cancellation at least two weeks prior to the start of the course.
Participants wishing to withdraw from the program must notify ZHAW in writing. If written notice of withdrawal is received 31 days or more before the first day of the program, you will receive 100% of the total program cost less a deposit of CHF 350. If written notice of withdrawal is received 30 days or less before the first day of the program, you will not receive a refund respectively you need to pay 75% of the full course fee.
The visa requirements for exchange study in Switzerland vary depending on the student’s country of origin. Students from countries in the European Union do not require a visa for Switzerland. Students from non-EU countries may require a visa to enter Switzerland. Prior to their departure, students should contact the Swiss embassy or consulate in their home country to check on or arrange an entry visa for Switzerland.
