What You Will Learn
The focus of the specialization “Accounting, Controlling, Auditing” is on reporting and financial business management. This will give you the analytical skills and sound specialist knowledge needed in today’s job market.
Students become familiar with approaches and tools to present the asset, financial, and profit situation of an organization, enabling them to provide the basis for a company’s planning and controlling decisions.
The program clarifies the requirements of the capital market and the regulators. It will give you specialist knowledge in the fields of corporate financing and financial and value-oriented corporate management. Financial reporting and auditing are covered in detail. In addition, you will learn to evaluate companies and identify levers for increasing company value.

Program Structure and Admission Requirements
As Flexible as You
About one third of your classes will be designed to enhance your knowledge of accounting, controlling, and auditing. As a full-time student, the program takes six semesters, as a part-time student eight semesters to complete. This specialization is also ideal for anyone planning to study for an advanced qualification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), or Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM). In addition, the program is a gateway to specialized qualifications such as federally certified tax expert, auditor, or accounting and controlling expert.

- A federally recognized vocational baccalaureate: no entrance exam or additional professional experience required
- A non-commercial vocational baccalaureate: no entrance exam required; at least one year of regular work experience in the commercial field
