The interdisciplinary character of our center, embracing law and economics, and the close ties we have to our project partners, allow us to deal with complex issues efficiently and effectively. Our research, which is both practical and interdisciplinary in nature, often takes the form of joint projects with partners from the business and the public sectors. These research projects are often funded by means provided by the Swiss National Science Foundation or other public funding agencies.
The members of faculty at the Center for Public Commercial Law teach in the degree programs and continuing education programs of the ZHAW School of Management and Law as well as at other universities. The modules they deliver deal with practical and theoretical aspects of issues at the intersection of the state and the private sector.
