CAS International Business Development

Among Swiss companies, the global competition for customers is becoming increasingly tough. The high costs in Switzerland are a major challenge.

The CAS in International Business Development also forms part of two MAS programs, the MAS in Digital Transformation and the MAS in Marketing Management.

Content

For Swiss companies, the global competition for customers is becoming increasingly tough. The high costs in Switzerland are a major challenge. Foreign markets not only offer new customers but also opportunities for completely new business models. Recognizing and using them is a decisive competence for entrepreneurs of the future.

Europe is not only the largest but also the easiest market to reach for Swiss companies. The full potential, however, has not been tapped by far. Many companies only focus on Germany and France but miss important market opportunities, such as in emerging Poland, Sweden, or the UK. This is where the CAS in International Business Development comes in.

Methodology

The best way to get to know a market is to be there. This is the method we follow in this program. The learning content is therefore taught directly in the various economic regions by leading experts from business and science. Innovative forms of teaching and learning such as case studies, problem-based learning, and coaching sessions are integral components of the program.
