Description
The Smart Grid International Research Facility Network (SIRFN) is a network of smart grid researchers with test facilities in countries participating in the Implementing Agreement for a Cooperative Programme on Smart Grids (ISGAN). The Electrical Energy Systems and Smart Grids Research Group of IEFE, ZHAW represents Switzerland in this network. ISGAN-SIRFN's collaborative testing and evaluation capabilities will be used by the international community to enable improved design, implementation and testing of smart grids and their functions, including the reliable integration of clean energy technologies. The work will be carried out by a global network of experts and managed in four focus areas. ZHAW is responsible for the area of advanced Lab-based testing methods.
