The Master of Science in Facility Management focuses on strategy and analysis so that its graduates are ready to gain a rapid understanding of the various decision-making channels at their workplace and know how to collect and evaluate the relevant data. 

The modules cover current trends and foreshadow future developments in order to ensure that graduates are aware of the constant need for innovation and are always able to find fresh solutions to professional challenges thanks to reflective and career-oriented research skills.

One of its kind in Switzerland

The Institute for Facility Management (IFM) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) is the only university in Switzerland to offer a Master of Science in Facility Management. The course builds on the Bachelor of Science in Facility Management but is also open to applicants with degrees in FM-related subjects such as business administration, hospitality, architecture, construction engineering or building services engineering.
