IOOA 2005 - Results

In spring 2005 - in the context of the annual Olive Oil Award - the objective sensory evaluation of virgin olive oils from the harvest 04/05 was performed by the sensory panel for olive oils from the University of Applied Sciences Waedenswil.
Alltogether 143 olive oils have participated in the tasting. First of all - the overall-intensity was evaluated, in order to categorize the oils as "mild", "medium" or "intense".

On the occasion of the "4th International Olive Congress - Zurich 2005" on April 7, 2005, the prizes in the categories Golden Olive, Silver Olive and Award 2005 were assigned.
