Research Associate in data-driven predictive maintenance of industrial assets (80 - 100 %)

As a successful candidate you will contribute your expertise to our applied research projects in the field of predictive maintenance of industrial assets. Your tasks will include:

  • Developing, evaluating and implementing procedures, analytical models and algorithms for detection, diagnostics and prognostics of impending failures for industrial assets based on operation, condition monitoring, maintenance and failure data
  • Combining engineering knowledge with predictive analytics
  • Executing and taking responsibility of R&D activities in cooperation with our industrial partners.

We are looking for applicants with degree (MSc or PhD) in engineering, applied mathematics or physics. Experience in predictive maintenance, machine and deep learning is beneficial. Programming experience is required; preferably in python. Fluent command of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory and knowledge in German is beneficial. We encourage applications from proactive and self-motivated candidates with strong problem solving abilities, good communication skills and out-of-the-box thinking. The collaboration with industrial partners in interdisciplinary innovative research projects will provide an exciting and rewarding working environment.
