The project focuses on blending the best practices of DevOps and requirements engineering solutions with the development processes used in various complex systems. The pipelines developed in the project will be validated against industrial use cases provided by industrial partners representing transport and potentially other sectors.
- Develop and deploy software prototypes for supporting continuous testing and evolution in the context of DevOps practices
- Become an expert in applying artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and developing DevOps solutions, to deliver software more rapidly, while at the same time resulting in more secure and trustworthy systems
- Collaborate with industrial partners and support technology transfer processes
- Report software development results in the shape of technical reports and software documentation
The ideal candidate had prior exposure to and strong interest in the fields of DevOps, Software Engineering, artificial intelligence (AI). The candidate has passion to explore new technologies and hardware, and curiosity for implementing new concepts. Good communication skills in English are essential; a good command of German is a plus. Particular emphasis is on developing advanced prototypes, conducting evaluations, and contributing to technical reports.
The position is provisionally limited to one year, but could be renewed for a maximum of three years upon mutual agreement. This is an entry level position, suitable for a recent graduate.
