Winter School 2016
The second edition of the ZHAW International Winter School on "Challenges in Interprofessional Health and Social Care" welcomed nearly 100 international students and 20 international teachers.
For the second time the ZHAW School of Health Professions became for four weeks a bustling melting pot where students and teachers from all over the globe met. There were Australians, Indians, Belgians, Finnish, Germans, Austrians, Dutch, Spanish, English, Swiss students from Lausanne and of course all of our 300 ZHAW students of the health professions from the 5th semester. But not only did we have a great diversity in nations but also in professions: nurses, midwives, social worker, speech therapists, early childhood teachers, occupational and physio therapists, psychologists, health and diversity students, students from the health sciences and even from molecular genetics and biotechnology!
They all met, they mingled, they learnt with and from each other, they exchanged their world and professional views and they had fun together. We are looking forward to the next Winter School, from 9 January to 3 February 2017!
