COST Action: Rationing or Missed Nursing Care (RANCARE)

5 September 2019

Interprofessional Workshop: Technological interventions to prevent or reduce rationed and missed nursing care

Rationing or Missed Nursing Care is an international and multidimensional problem. This interprofessional workshop is related to the COST (European Cooperation in Science & Technology) Action RANCARE: 15208 - Rationing or Missed Nursing Care.

The workshop will focus on technological interventions/solutions to support nurses’ provision of necessary patient care. Furthermore, on interventions/solutions, which have the potential to prevent or reduce the levels of rationed and missed nursing care. It will include established interventions such as electronic health records, as well as interventions currently under development including social robots and other innovative ideas.
