ZHAW Sustainability Booster
Do you have a sustainable start-up idea in mind? In the Sustainability Booster you will learn how to found a start-up and lead it to success. Right from the start and with professional support.
In the Sustainability Booster you have the opportunity to contribute to sustainable ideas or already existing sustainable start-ups. The sustainability booster offers visits to start-ups (safaris), free coaching, targeted workshops and networking events followed by an apéro. It is designed to support you in getting down to business and making sustainable ideas fly in the form of a start-up. Finally, you can present your project at the pitching event and win prizes to advance your startup.
We are looking for you
- You already have a start-up with a sustainable background and you are interested in taking a concrete idea forward in a short time with new people as part of the booster program.
- You have a sustainable idea that you want to test out in the booster program and you are looking for people to help you take this idea further.
- You don't have your own idea yet, but would like to help a sustainable start-up or another person with a concrete idea to bring a sustainable project forward.
When and where?
When: October to November 2024, the kick-off starts at 18:00, all other events start at 19:00 and end at 21:00.
Where: At ZHAW, in Zurich, with kick-off at Technopark Winterthur and optional visits to sustainable start-ups (safaris).
You can win the following prizes at the pitching event:
1st place: CHF 2'000 voucher for your startup + 6 months participation in the RUNWAY Startup Incubator + participation in a sustainability conference for your team.
2nd place: CHF 1'000 voucher for your startup + 6 months participation in the RUNWAY Startup Incubator
3rd place: CHF 500 voucher for your startup + 6 months participation in the RUNWAY Startup Incubator
By registering for the Sustainability Booster, you confirm your participation in the Kick-Off Event. If your start-up idea is selected or you want to join a team, you are also invited to the three workshops & coaching sessions and the final pitch event, where prizes will be awarded for the best three ideas.
Participation in the Sustainability Booster and the start-up visits (safaris), including all apéros, are free of charge. At the kick-off event, you can present your ideas and build teams, or expand your existing teams. The condition for further participation after the kick-off is that at least one person per team is studying or working at the ZHAW, or is a member of a ZHAW startup initiative (for example, Runway Incubator).
