Entrepreneurship at the School of Engineering
Innovative business ideas often start with a project or bachelor thesis or a research project with external partners. The School of Engineering supports the founding of young companies in order to further develop project results into marketable products.
We promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking by supporting motivated students from the very first semester in developing their own ideas and bringing them into contact with the startup scene. This happens as part of the lessons, via coaching offers and an inspiring environment in which founders can exchange ideas with each other.
As part of the study, experienced players from the startup scene share their experiences. You can't teach entrepreneurship, you have to live it.
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.
Some of our lecturers have experience as founders themselves. They support interested students as mentors and coaches.
We offer young entrepreneurs, founders and interested parties a platform for exchange and networking.
