All staff and student mobility now processed online at the ZHAW

Since the beginning of the academic year 2017/18, the ZHAW has been using the Mobility-Online tool for all mobility administration. Lecturers, for example, who are teaching at a partner university within the framework of the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP), or ZHAW employees who would like to be involved in job-shadowing or to pursue continuing education abroad, register online using this new tool. Students who are interested in studying at another university or who want to do an internship also use Mobility-Online. This tool is not only used for registration; the entire mobility procedure is now processed online.

After a two-year project, the introduction of Mobility-Online has been successfully completed. Since the beginning of October 2017, all types of staff and student mobility, incoming and outgoing, have been completely processed using the new tool. Mobility-Online is used by all of the ZHAW Schools and it replaces the previous MoveOn software.

The ZHAW is moving with the times with the introduction of Mobility-Online. This user-friendly tool allows all information and documents stored to be accessed from anywhere. Everything takes place online and is process-based, from registration to the filling-in of all forms, as well as the transfer of mobility grants. Interested parties will find information on the various types of mobility, as well as on locations and universities that might be possibilities for them, on Mobility-Online.

Mobility-Online was adapted to the needs of the ZHAW and further developed on the basis of standard software by the International Affairs Office (project responsibility) in cooperation with the International Relations Offices of the eight Schools. People interested in staff or student mobility should contact the International Relations Office of their School for further information.
