Information about coronavirus
Information on the current situation, as of 15 January 2021.
The current pandemic continues to demand maximum flexibility and adaptability from all of us. Due to the development of this situation, the university management met today for an extraordinary meeting and decided that from Monday, 18 January 2021, no more face-to-face examinations will take place at all departments, although on-site performance certificates will continue to be permitted according to the Federal Council's decision. Exceptions are examinations that must take place on site, e.g. examinations in laboratories.
Classes continue to take place online except for laboratory classes, skills training, interpreting training, which can be conducted on site. The university management will decide by the end of April 2021 at the latest whether final module examinations and other performance assessments can be held on site at the end of the semester.
Details are regulated in the Covid-19 protection concept of the ZHAW, additional information is available on the intranet.
