Tätigkeit an der ZHAW
Als Leiterin des Instituts für Facility Management (IFM) mit 45 Mitarbeitenden hat Prof. Dr.-Ing. Antje Junghans die Gesamtverantwortung für Lehre, Forschung und Entwicklung, Weiterbildung und Beratung im IFM. Sie vertritt und vernetzt die Lehr- und Forschungsschwerpunkte des Instituts innerhalb und ausserhalb der ZHAW und ist für die strategisch inhaltliche, personelle und finanzielle Führung verantwortlich. Darüber hinaus arbeitet sie als Mitglied der Departementsleitung in der Führung des Departements für Life Sciences und Facility Management (LSFM) der ZHAW mit. Am IFM studieren rund 250 Bachelor-Studierende in Facility Management, rund 50 Master-Studierende sind im Master of Science (MSc REFM) und im Master of Advanced Studies (MAS REFM) in Real Estate und Facility Management eingeschrieben. Lehr- und Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Workplace Management, FM in Health Care, sowie Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung im Immobilien- und Facility Management. Die Weiterbildung des IFM befindet sich seit 2017 am ZHAW Standort Zürich in der Lagerstrasse, in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Zürich HB und der Europaallee.

Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte, Spezialkenntnisse
Professor Junghans ist Autor und Co-Autor von mehr als 50 wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und Präsentationen. Ausserdem arbeitet sie als Betreuerin und Co-betreuerin von Doktoranden an der NTNU und wurde als Gutachterin für internationale Dissertationen der Aalto University, Finnland, University of Melbourne, und Pretoria University eingeladen. Prof. Junghans arbeitet seit 2014 als Beraterin und Gutachterin des Schwedischen Forschungsministeriums (FORMAS) in der Kommission für die Nachhaltigkeit der gebauten Umwelt „The built environment“. Prof. Junghans ist Gutachterin für renommierte wissenschaftliche Zeitschriften wie “Building Research and Information”, “Facilities”, “The Journal of Corporate Real Estate” and the “International Journal of Strategic Property Management”. Sie arbeitet seit 2011 in wissenschaftlichen Komitees, als Gutachterin, und Leiterin wissenschaftlicher Symposien: “The International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction” (CIB), CIBW70, WBC16 World Building Congress, Passive and Low Energy Architecture (PLEA), Nordic Conference on Construction Economics and Organization, CFM's Nordic Conference, European Facility Management Conference (EFMC).

Professor Junghans hat mehr als 25 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der universitären Lehre und Forschung und darüber hinaus als Architektin, Projektmanagerin und Beraterin in den Bereichen Immobilienwirtschaft, Architektur, Stadtplanung, Bauprojektmanagement und Facility Management gearbeitet. Ihre Berufserfahrung in der Bauwirtschaft ist vorwiegend von Deutschland mit öffentlichen Grossprojekten, internationalen Hotelinvestitionen, Neubau und Modernisierung von Theatern, energetische Verbesserung von Nichtwohngebäuden. Sie hat als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Dozentin an der TU München, RWTH Aachen und an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal gearbeitet. An der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal promovierte sie berufsbegleitend und erhielt den Doktortitel (Dr.-Ing.) mit Ihrer Dissertation: Bewertung und Steigerung der Energieeffizienz kommunaler Bestandsgebäude.
