My research is in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics related to Molecular Evolution and Phylogenomics. I am currently a PhD candidate in Maria Anisimova group since Feb'15. My efforts and my project are mainly focused on finding new methods and algorithms for joint multiple sequence alignments and phylogeny estimations.
My studies emphasised statistical models applied in computational biology problems, dynamics of molecular evolution under both clinical and ecological predictive prospectives as well as functional genomics, spatiotemporal modelling and simulation of biological systems.
I am also interested in software engineering and developing algorithms for image processing, statistic evaluation of analysis results, increasing code performance, data scalability, execution reliability and results reproducibility. I have been involved in developing in the fields of spatial statistics, computer vision and artificial intelligence.
