The ICP Institute of Computational Physics is a competence center for the development and application of numerical modeling methods. We deal with modeling and numerical methods for the simulation of complex physical relationships. We validate the models using experiments and develop solutions integrating multiphysics simulation software into industrial processes.

To complement our interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers the Sensor & Measurement Systems group from the Institute of Computational Physics is looking for  Two Research Assistant Positions in the “Sensors & Measurement Systems” Group (40 %)

• Working on cutting-edge, industry-based research projects in the field of biomedical Engineering

You require a completed BSc in engineering (A or B grades). Advanced skills in image processing / signal processing are an asset. Fluent command of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory and knowledge in German is beneficial.

The assistants are expected to enroll in parallel in the master’s in science in engineering program at ZHAW (https://www.zhaw.ch/en/engineering/study/masters-degree-programme/).

The two position are starting September 2019 and provisionally limited to one year but could be renewed for a maximum of three years upon mutual Agreement.
