Assistant Position in DevOps for Efficient Energy Service Platforms 50 - 60 %

Your role

• Participation in research projects in the field of DevOps and Software Engineering.
• Develop and deploy software prototypes for supporting continuous testing and evolution in the context of DevOps practices
• Become an expert in applying artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and developing DevOps solutions, to deliver software more rapidly, while at the same time resulting in more secure and trustworthy systems
• Collaborate with industrial partners and support technology transfer processes
• Report software development results in the shape of technical reports and software documentation 

Your profile

• Had prior exposure to and strong interest in the fields of DevOps, Software Engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and Containerization technologies (e.g., from Docker to Kubernetes) 
• Has a passion to explore new technologies and hardware, and curiosity about implementing new concepts 
• Has good implementation skills (in Python, Java, and possibly C/C++)
• Has communication skills in English (essential); a good command of German is a plus 
• Particular emphasis is on developing advanced prototypes, conducting evaluations, and contributing to technical reports
