You obtained your PhD in Economics with specialization in agricultural or environmental economics and have a solid background in applied economics, econometric methods and other quantitative modelling approaches. You show strong interest in programming and possess skills in processing large datasets, in particular weather and climate data. Ideally, you already have experiences in conducting multidisciplinary research projects. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential; knowledge of German is a plus; basic knowledge of Russian would be highly appreciated. In addition to being a member of a highly motivated team of researchers, the selected candidate will also closely collaborate with researchers from other universities in Europe and the US and participate in joint expeditions to study regions. If interested, you will be offered opportunities and support to acquire third-party funded research projects and extend your collaborations in the areas and with researchers of your choice.
The position is offered for 24 months with annual fixed term contracts. We expect to receive applications from researchers with doctorate exam completed up to 3 years before the start of the appointment by May 1st, 2021. The employment of the selected candidate will comply with the general implementation regulations of the Swiss National Science Foundation.

The research group Agricultural and Resource Economics invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Economics of climate change in agriculture. The selected candidate will be employed within an ERA-Net research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and will study the climate change impact on Russian agriculture.
