Databases
At the ZHAW University Library, you have access to about 150 databases. Staff and students can access these databases free of charge on campus or via their VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection.
LinkSolver - Linking to full text
Many bibliographic databases are activated for LinkSolver. When you click on the LinkSolver symbol next to a citation in a database, you are automatically redirected to the full-text article if it is available. If it is not available, you are redirected to the catalogue, where you can check whether the journal you are looking for is available in printed form in a library.
Access to the content of the databases is only possible if you are logged on to the ZHAW network.
Information by database hosts
Many of the databases are licensed by the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries. The Universities of Applied Sciences are part of this Consortium.
