Whether short or long: living abroad enriches your life and is an investment for a successful future career. The ZHAW has seen a steady increase in students who use the mobility opportunity in their courses to take a semester abroad at one of our Partner Institutions. The ZHAW offers a wide range of mobility options: Erasmus only is the best known mobility programme which also includes a scholarship. But even one semester at a partner university overseas, an internship abroad, a Summer School, a project or study trip, or a language study programme can be arranged through the ZHAW to acquire international experience. In addition to the specialised training you obtain during a stay abroad, you’ll gain not only foreign language knowledge, but also other important international skills.

A stay abroad should be well planned. The online brochure Mobilität – leichter als gedacht explains the diversity of mobility options and gives a primary overview of the organisational details. The International Relations Offices also provide support in the actual planning, organising, and implementation of a stay abroad.
