Description
The EU Europe H2020 project Net4Cities aims to monitor and allocate traffic emissions of all kinds in order to enable their targeted reduction as part of the Zero Pollution Action Plan. To this end, new standards for monitoring air pollution and noise emissions are being developed in 11 European cities, including Zurich, which are easily scalable and can therefore be applied at various levels in the future. The project proactively supports the co-creation of action guidelines which political decision makers can apply when implementing future measures. The Center for Aviation contributes to the success of the project with its expertise in the field of emission and particulate matter measurements and represents the interests of the SoE and the Zurich region as a member of the consortium.
