Description
This project aims to advance green wall technology and systems by combining innovative production know-how (3D printing, material development) with ecological aspects to close water loops and expand green infrastructure in cities. Together with an international company, a modular approach will be taken to create a multifunctional system that can be adapted to different needs. The project will develop green wall systems with different prioritization of the following target ecological functions: Removal of pollutants from air, removal of pollutants from water, water retention and reuse ("sponge city"), thermal management (cooling; insulation), and biodiversity.
