The Center for Didactics and Methodology at the ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) deals with the important issues related to three complex subject areas: university didactics with a focus on their implementation in university teaching methods, promoting competence at the intersection between application-oriented science and practice, and applied didactics and methodology in an interdisciplinary context.

The interdisciplinary team of specialists at the Center for Didactics and Methodology covers the spectrum ranging from the requirements of a university through to the practical needs of its internal and external customers (applied science). However, the team shares a constructivist understanding of teaching and learning as well as a commitment to promoting a comprehensive range of skills.
