Study
Chemists are concerned with the structure, properties and the transformation of substances. They develop new materials with special properties, plan and organize the production of chemical products, and monitor their quality and safety.
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
The Bachelor's degree in Chemistry provides a broad education in chemistry, life sciences and chemical engineering, with mathematics and physics as a basis. As part of the course specialisations in chemistry or biological chemistry are selected.
Master of Science (MSc) in Life Sciences
Specialisation in Chemistry for the Life Sciences
The consecutive Master's program is a course of postgraduate study. Master's students gain in-depth experience of modern methods for representing large and small active molecules, processes for surface patterning and functionalization, and analysis and characterization techniques.
