NM-SESES
Multiphysics FE software NM-SESES
NM-SESES is an interactive software-tool for simulating multiphysics systems based on the finite element (FE) method. It is developed at ICP in collaboration with our spin-off company Numerical Modelling GmbH. We support our partners from industry and academia in the rapid development of novel products and processes by offering support and teaching for NM-SESES together with joint research projects on multiphysics modeling and numerical methods. Please contact guido.sartoris(at)zhaw.ch if you do not want to start from scratch for complex topics on these fields. PhD students may even get access to the C-code under a non-disclosure agreement.
NM-SESES features
- Multiphysics solver covering almost all 2D/3D PDEs of classical physics with generic user defined coupling terms and an immense range of applications.
- User-friendly graphical interface for a step-by-step problem definition and visualization of numerical results.
- Powerful functional input-language for specification of parametrized geometries, physical models and numerical solution methods.
- Adaptive mesh generation and state-of-the-art numerical algorithms.
- Flexible postprocessing capabilities to export and visualize numerical results.
- Physical properties libraries for many materials already included. New materials can be easily added.
- Free teaching material available with many examples showing how to use NM-SESES to solve engineering problems.
- Runs on Windows and Linux.
