Technology-supported stress management training for professionals in the nursing profession
A high level of stress is documented among nursing students, which has a negative impact on their health, satisfaction and ability to remain in the profession. Problematic interactions that place high demands on emotional self-control are considered to be a major stressor. Measures to promote competence in dealing ...

An end-to-end fault prognostics solution for reliable power grids using acoustic sensors
A new end-to-end fault detection method will be developed based on anomalies in acoustic signals in noisy environments. It will be validated in controlled lab experiments with forced equipment failures and benchmarked against several state-of-the-art measurement techniques.

Multi-mode Raman Optical Activity Instruments for Complex Molecular Analysis
Raman optical activity (ROA) is a powerful spectroscopic technique for the characterization of complex molecules. To significantly accelerate drug discovery and development, a new generation of ROA instruments will be developed.

Second-Generation Alptrackers with Hub-and-Spoke Signalling and Herd Awareness
Alptracker is the de-facto standard for tracking sheep and cow herds in the Swiss alps. This project advances communication and software support for wide-area herding. It contributes novel hub-spoke animal tracking, capturing movement and behaviour, deriving holistic herd models, and predicting predators and other ...
